How to Apply
To be eligible, a student must be currently enrolled for a PhD at a university in Western Australia and actively undertaking their research during the calendar year for which the grant is being sought.
The research topic must be in the field of natural sciences, anthropology or archaeology and directly relevant to Western Australia. If you are unsure about the eligibility of your project, please contact rswajohnglovergrants@uwa.edu.au before you apply. For example, the grants will not support topics such as medical research or engineering. Royal Society of WA decisions on eligibility are final and not appealable.
Importantly, applicant MUST be a Member of the RSWA before submitting their application. The grants will be advertised yearly in April, submission will be due in July and the announcements will be made in October. The funds will be made available for the following calendar year.
